After School Matters Dance Ensemble
After School Matters is a nonprofit organization that offers Chicago teens innovative out-of-school activities. We are committed to providing teens with a safe, cooperative, and creative learning environment where they can grow and be fulfilled as dance artists; where they forge personal and professional relationships; and where they learn creative, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills necessary for mature citizens entering the workforce.
Praxis Dance Project
The Praxis Dance Project seeks to create a six-week summer dance intensive at Loyola University. Our mission is to invigorate the Loyola University Chicago Dance Program by providing excellence in dance training to a diverse group of elite collegiate dancers. Our focus is on celebrating the emergence of powerful voices in contemporary dance as well as bringing the vitality of dance into non-traditional performance spaces within the Chicago community.
